So i found a bunch of Danganronpa beta designs that i'd thought i would share my opinion. So let's begin!
The first thing that came across my mind was 'Izuru?' But no, this is what Nekomaru would've looked like. On one side he doesn't have a hood or any indication of one, however the other side, he is wearing one, which i found weird. I don't have much to say about this design. I'm glad they kept the current one.

I knew immediately when i saw a hamster it was Gundham. This version looks more satanic and less approachable than the one we've come to know. Instead of a scarf, he uses his hair to raise his hamster. The reason i used the singular term for hamster is because i'm not sure if he had anymore. Although i do like the design, i prefer the current supreme lord of ice much more.

When i first saw this design, i had no clue who this was. It was like a character's design that was from an unreleased killing game. I looked into it and ... it's Akane. Apparently this version of her was going to be the SHSL Criminal (Most likely changed due to how wide criminal offences range. She would of have to have committed nearly every crime, or been in prison so many times.) This design however is my second favourite design out of the ones i chose for this blog. The hair looks really nice, the chain around her neck added a nice touch and her outfit works for her. With a few tweeks and adjustments, this design could become its own character in a future danganronpa killing game.
Ok not going to lie, but it looks as if Sia became a rockstar. This is one of Ibuki's past designs and it doesn't seem as though much has changed. The outfit looks similar and just by looking at the face, you'd know it's Ibuki. Not a design i like, but definitely not my least favourite.
So puberty hit Fuyuhiko like brick shot out of a grease top cannon. Yes, the babyface with all come to know, was going to look like this absolute beast. Not in a bad way, i kinda actually like it. He looks a lot more threatening than final design Fuyuhiko does. Imagine instead of Fuyuhiko in the final game, it's this guy. Imagine him going through the same redemption arc as final Fuyuhiko. Also Fuyuhiko's threats would be taken even more seriously than it was.
Now onto my favourite design. You may all be asking 'How is this bland-looking string bean your favourite beta design?' Well, its mainly because out of any hairstyle in Danganronpa, i have not seen a hairstyle that doesn't remind me of someone else. The Akane design may be my second favourite beta design, however the hairstyle looked too similar to Asahina. That's not the only reason why it's my favourite, it's also because of his outfit. He may look kinda plain, but to me, its plainness works. The outfit already gives a few options as to what his talent is; Pharmacist, Cleaner, Waiter or Cook? To answer that question, he is a cook, Teruteru's old design to be in fact.
This was what Hajime was going to look like. He, upon first glance, seems anti-social and more of an introvert than current Hajime. However, based on the close ups on his face, he looks kinda happy. Not much else to say, other than this beta design is okay.

Right, just going to say, this is my least favourite design out of all of these. Don't get me wrong i like all of them, it's just the design is way too impractical. This was one of Mikan's old designs (i belive, it could be Sonia's but it looks more like Mikan.) I have no idea what her talent could be, but her outfit wouldn't work/be suitable for any talent other than SHSL Twerker (I swear if there is a SHSL Twerker..). However the hair and face design i realy like, but that isn't enough to like the design. Like is that an apron of trousers that only cover her front, or? So yeah, i am sad to say, this was my least favourite beta design out of all of the other designs on this blog.
